acceptance

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Sub Rosa mobile application and the playsubrosa.com website (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Releasy Corp ("we", "us"), a Florida corporation with its registered office at 33024 US Highway 19 North, Palm Harbor, FL 34684, United States.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

the service

Sub Rosa is a single-player text role-playing game. Each run is a self-contained narrative dungeon. Some dungeon text is generated at runtime by a third-party large-language-model provider. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

your account

To use the Service you must sign in through Apple Sign In (on iOS) or Google Sign In (on Android). You are responsible for keeping the underlying Apple or Google account secure. We treat anyone signing in with valid credentials as the account holder.

You may use the Service only if you are at least 13 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your country, if applicable).

subscriptions and lifetime access

Two paid options are offered through your platform's store:

• Lifetime — a one-time, non-consumable purchase of $49.99 (or local equivalent) granting permanent access to the wider archive on the account that purchased it.
• Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription of $4.99 / month (or local equivalent), preceded by a seven-day free trial when offered by the store. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled.

All payments, refunds, and renewals are processed by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) under their terms. To cancel, manage, or request a refund for a subscription, use your platform's account settings; we cannot process those requests directly.

Prices may change. Any change to the price of an auto-renewing subscription will be communicated to you with the notice period required by your platform and applicable law, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Lifetime access, once purchased, is not affected by future price changes.

license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service on devices you control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service
• use the Service to train or evaluate a competing AI system
• circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or other technical protections
• create automated agents, scrapers, or bots that interact with the Service
• use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

ai-generated content

Dungeon text, room descriptions, NPC dialogue, and other narrative content in Sub Rosa are generated by a third-party large language model. Such content is fictional and may contain inaccuracies, repetitions, or coincidental resemblance to real persons, places, or events. It is provided for entertainment only and should not be relied upon for any factual purpose.

We make no claim of authorship over individual generated outputs and offer no warranty as to their originality or quality. You may quote short excerpts of your own runs for personal, non-commercial purposes, with attribution to Sub Rosa.

your conduct

You agree not to use the Service to harass others, to attempt to compromise its security, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to extract personal information about other users. The Service is single-player; there is no in-game communication with other players to abuse, but the underlying API is shared.

termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at privacy@releasy.xyz.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the Service to your account would put the Service at risk. We will give you reasonable notice unless the violation requires immediate action. Lifetime access is non-refundable on termination for cause.

availability and changes

The Service requires a working internet connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If a material change reduces what lifetime holders receive, we will give reasonable notice and, where required by law, offer a remedy.

disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Releasy Corp, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Releasy Corp against any claim arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive forum for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.

changes to these terms

If we change these Terms, we will update the "last updated" date above. For material changes we will give reasonable in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
